Hi! I’m Autumn Joiner and I’m passionate about youth having the tools to dream BIG dreams, confidently go after them and achieve them!

My passion for children was ignited at an early age as my mother, a single parent, provided not only my basic needs but also meet the emotional and physical needs of other youth in our community. Watching her lead with tenacity and commitment to youth inspired me to one day give back in a way that would not only benefit my future children(at the time), but every child assigned to me along my journey as a youth leader. I later pursued a degree in Family & Consumer Science with a strong presence of Elementary Education. Years of training, planning and working in the field led to the inspiration that is now Sharp Arrows!

As an experienced youth leader in my own community I understand the value of empowering youth to believe in themselves no matter what challenges they face along their journey and the truth that behind many of the successful people they see came with many failures, No’s and unexpected twists & turns however, it was courage that helped them to keep going!

The Arrow Dynamic Curriculum™ was created with many of the affirmations and activities that I’ve used with my own sons as well as the youth that I’ve served in many of the programs I’ve developed. It’s amazing to me how carving out intentional moments to affirm children has resulted in them creating their own goals and confidently achieving them! Their stories of achievement fuel me on many days.
